Got sacked from my job at the card shop today. A woman came in and said, “I bought this ‘Get Well Soon’ card for a colleague, but he’s turned out to have a terminal illness.” Apparently, I should have offered her a refund rather than to exchange it for a ‘Sorry You’re Leaving Us’ card.
