The Holy Cross Cemetery had...
The Holy Cross Cemetery had received a surprise donation that would double the real estate of their current holdings, which were already overcrowded.
The lead undertaker, Arthur Falconer, was tasked by the superintendent with surveying the new land to plan how to layout the new headstones.> He took his shovel to the new grounds and started to dig a burial plot. To his immense frustration, the ground was too hard—nearly solid clay when it wasn't bedrock. He moved to another spot, and again, the ground was too solid to dig. No matter where he moved in the newly donated land, he couldn't carve out so much as a golf hole.
He returned to the head office where his superintendent asked him when he would be able approve the new grounds for the long list of potential clients awaiting internment.
"I can't," Arthur answered sadly. "I've got grave concerns."
